What happens when it snows?
Well, you keep working on your game and thinking how it can improve the next time you get out there. Golf has a funny way of getting you to think it will be better next time you play. The great shot you hit on the last to make you come back again next week. Someone told me recently that success is just doing the right things on a consistent basis. That sounds like common sense to me. It is just the same with your golf? You need have the right level of consistently in order for your game to go well.
One of those things is putting. Over the years I have always considered myself a good putter. It is impossible to become any good at golf unless you become a good putter. In fact any golfer that wants to reduce their handicap is going to find it tough to do so if they cannot putt well. Great putting makes up for bad shots and when you are hitting the ball well helps you make that good score even better. In my experience there are only a few things that you need to do to become a good putter.
The first is judging distance, the second is being able to read a green and the third is the ability to aim and control the clubface.
Most golfers cannot aim the putter face very well at all. I have found that it does not matter what handicap the player is either. I have taught from beginner to professional and they seem to all struggle with aiming the putter face. One of the main differences though is the professional works on correcting the problem whereas most club golfers don't give it a second thought. Take the 10 yard challenge
Would you like to hit the ball 10 yards further?
Some of you might say, that as long as it is in the right direction I would definitely want to hit the ball 10 yards further. If you do come and take the challenge we will do our job and that is show you how you could gain an extra 10 yards on your drive.
There are many reasons that you don't hit the ball as far as you would like to. Does your driver create too much backspin? Is the shaft in your driver too stiff or too flexible? Do you need more loft on your driver?
Most people think that if they need less loft to hit the ball further and that could not be further from the truth. The majority of golfers need more loft. So whether it is by trying out the new technology we will have in stock or whether it is by following the advice we give you. Me and the team are committed to helping you enjoy your golf and improve your game, so take the 10 yard challenge and move your game forward.
